Q: How Big / What Size is an 12 / 12" Skillet?
A: An 12 or 12" Cast Iron Skillet size refers to the cooking area inside the skillet. 12" cooking area is approximately 30cm pan cooking size.
Q: Is a Cast Iron Skillet Oven Proof?
A: Absolutely, you can use your Cast Iron Cookware directly on the heat of your fire and certainly inside your oven. A cast iron skillet can take heat levels up to 1500F / 800C. Much hotter than you oven can cook.
